Welcome to the Maths Academy! If you are a year 12 or 13 student you are invited to participate in learning maths for the love of learning; no exams, no pressure, no worries. This project is about promoting the beauty and joy of mathematics for its own sake. This is your opportunity to learn university mathematics from mathematicians based at the University of Sheffield.
Eugenia Cheng set up the Maths Academy in 2011 to promote learning for the love of learning in a non-exam based setting. Eugenia Cheng is on study leave this year and the Maths Academy is currently being led by Sarah Browne, James Cranch, Magdalini Flari and Fionntan Roukema (with a lot of help from many other great people at the School of Mathematics and Statistics).
The Maths Academy runs different projects in different years. Select the relevant year for further

For information, or to register your interest in any of our projects, including the Interactive Lecture Series and the Maths Academy Road Show, you can contact Dr. Fionntan Roukema (f.roukema(at)sheffield.ac.uk). Questions of any type are also very welcome!
